Course Description:
The Platform HPC Enterprise course is a workshop-focused, hands-on class designed to give system administrators the knowledge and confidence required to implement and maintain Platform HPC in their HPC environment. Students will gain a solid and fundamental understanding of the product’s features, including how the product is implemented, configured, and administered. The workshops provide hands-on experience with the material presented during class.

Who Should Attend:
The Platform HPC Enterprise (UNIX/Linux) course is designed for system administrators who will implement the HPC cluster and who will be responsible for managing the environment.

Course Pre-requisite:
At least some Linux/Unix command-line experience No previous experience with Platform products is assumed or required.

Course Materials:
All participants will receive a copy of the training manual and workshops.

Course Content:
- Overview of HPC clusters
- Overview of Platform HPC Enterprise
- Installing and managing a cluster using Platform HPC Enterprise
- Compiling and running programs using the included MPI libraries (e.g. Platform MPI)
- HPC Enterprise configuration, and job submission
- Monitoring a cluster using Platform HPC Enterprise
- Customizing job submission – and submitting jobs – with HPC Enterprise
