What are the dates and location of PGC08?
PGC08 is taking place at the Hyatt Regency, Santa Clara, California on May 19th – 21st, 2008.

How much does it cost to attend PGC08?
The registration fee per person is $295.00 USD

What is included in the registration fee?
Your registration fee includes access to all sessions during the two day event, half day technical product training, continental breakfast on both days, lunch and refreshment breaks on both days, conference materials as well as Tuesday evening gala reception and dinner.

Can I access the presentations in advance of attending the sessions?  (or after?)
Following PGC08 you will be sent details to access the presentations of those speakers who have given permission for distribution.

How do I register?
You can register online at www.platform.com/pgc08/

Can I register onsite the first day of the conference?
There will be no onsite registration accepted. You must register in advance online.

Do you offer group registration discounts?
There are no group registration discounts. Registration is $295.00 USD per person.

When and where will I receive my badge materials?
Conference materials including your badge will be distributed upon sign in at the registration desk located in front of the grand ballroom of the Hyatt Regency.

What if I cannot attend after I have registered or I need to cancel my registration?
No refunds will be made for cancellations after April 19th, 2008. If you have any questions, please email us at conference@platform.com. As hotel accommodations are made by the registrant, you are solely responsible for cancelling with the hotel directly.

What meals are provided during the event?
Continental breakfast, lunch and conference breaks will be provided on the Tuesday and Wednesday as well as a welcome reception on the Monday and a Tuesday evening gala reception and dinner.

How can I arrange for special dietary requests?
Please indicate any special dietary requests on the registration form where indicated.

How can I arrange for other special requests? (physical disabilities, etc.)

Do you offer any special training?
Technical product training is being offered as part of your registration on the Wednesday, May 21st from 12:45pm – 4:00pm

Can I bring a guest to the conference?
Guests are always welcome. Guests will only be permitted to enter the conference if they have prepaid the $295.00 USD registration fee.

How do I make hotel reservations?
Platform Computing has negotiated discounted hotel room rates at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara for PGC08 attendees, based on availability. Single occupancy rates are $169.00 plus applicable taxes. You may book your reservation by calling the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara directly at (408) 200-1234. Please reference PGC08 when making your hotel reservation. This offer will expire on April 21, 2008.

Which airport should I use?
The closest airport to the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara is the Mineta San Jose International Airport

What is the best method of transportation to/from the airport?
Shuttles can either be arranged over the telephone or can be found waiting in one of two areas:

Terminal A - In the Ground Transportation Center located south of the Terminal Garage
Terminal C - Outside, same side of street, just south of baggage claim

Taxi - Taxis are stationed at the airport for on-demand service. They are accessible from Terminal A and Terminal C.

Is there onsite parking for local attendees?
The Hyatt Regency offers all attendees free onsite parking.

What should I wear while at the conference?
Attire is business casual.
