Athena Design Systems will provide licensed software on Linux/Solaris platform in the EDA market that will perform Routing Optimization during the Routing Step of the Physical Implementation of the ASIC design flow. Athena's innovative application technology is optimization for both Timing Closure and Signal Integrity during routing. Athena's software will run on LINUX/SOLARIS farms and will use distributed parallel computing model on the open network to speed up the highly complex and sequential Routing and Layout generation step in the IC design flow.
