Platform Computing only collects your personal information for the
specific purpose stated at the time the information is requested from
you. The personal information is not used for other purposes or sold or
rented to third parties. Platform Computing reserves the right to
disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
- to third parties who deliver Platform Computing publications to you- Platform may contract with a third party to assist us in managing certain functions on our Web, such as sending out our newsletters. Online Commerce
Platform has contracted with Digital River for online commerce. They
use their own Secure Sales Server technology (S3) to ensure that the
information that you provide on an order form is secure. Digital River
must collect your name, email address, mailing address, credit card
number and expiration date to complete your transaction. This allows
them to process and fulfill your order and to provide you with
notification of your order status. Digital River may use the
information collected to notify you about important functionality
changes to the Web site and/or special offers. If you do not wish to
receive this information, please follow the clear opt-out instructions
provided when you order and included in every email Digital River
sends. You may also call the Digital River customer service toll free
line at 1-800-656-5426, 24 hours a day and seven days a week to ask to
be removed from future Digital River emails. Digital River will use
cookies to identify you, not for any other purpose. Digital River will
never rent or sell your information to third parties. For more
