The Platform HPC Affiliates program is comprised of High Performance Computing (HPC) leaders with a shared commitment to advancing grid and distributed computing technology within government agencies, universities, research centers, and industry.

Our mission is to provide members with a forum to influence High Performance Computing (HPC) technology development, which will ultimately aid researchers in their efforts to solve their most pressing and computationally intensive scientific problems.

At our annual November meetings, Platform HPC Affiliates are actively engaged in identifying problems requiring tangible business and/or technical solutions. Focus areas that we are collaborating on include: 

• Solution concept and prototype development and discussion
• Best practices in deploying, running and managing HPC environment
• Partnership
