We’ve made significant enhancements to our eSupport website. The following new features are available at no additional charge to all Support subscribers.

Highlights include:

• Email Notification Services. Now you can sign up separately for notices on:
  • Platform product releases - from Maintenance Packs, minor releases to major releases, as well as new products,
  • Patch availability - for known product issues with available patches
  • Critical support issues - for known issues that may have potential impacts to your cluster accompanied with recommended solutions or workaround
  • Marketing activities - latest news on Platform Cluster, Grid and Cloud Computing events
    
• Platform Support Diagnostic Suite is a bundle of diagnostic tools that enable you to reduce your effort in managing your Cluster, Grid or Cloud, and accelerate the time-to-resolution of your issues. Features include:
  
  • Health check tools - check the health of your LSF cluster
  • Network system diagnostics - confirm communication between local machine and master machine of your cluster
  • Profile performance of a file system - confirm that your file system has sufficient free disk space and is achieving expected performance level
  • Profile performance of host name resolution - check DNS’s host name resolution performance
  • Profile performance of user name resolution - check NIS’s user name resolution performance
