We are currently looking for 1 individual to fill the role of SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (OSLO).

Description

The incumbent will be responsible for complex project design and implementation, which may require extensive investigation, research, and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Performs design and programming of complex development projects, including functional analysis and investigation, high-level design, low-level design, and implementation
• Interact with customers and product management in defining the scope of projects
• Performs design and implementation reviews to other developers on multiple projects
• Performs testing and maintenance of products
• Prepares, writes, or reviews technical documentation
• Researches and understands marketing requirements for a product and new technologies or development tools

Requirements

• Completion of Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree
• 2+ years of software development in a Linux environment with exceptional system administration skills
• Must have strong knowledge of Java, Python, SQL and database technologies
• Knowledge of C/C++ is highly desirable
• Contribution to open source software is also highly desired
• Team lead experience in development projects is an asset
• Thorough technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, and implementation.
• Excellent skills in research, analysis, and implementation
• Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
