Description:

Support the sales team to achieve EMEA sales quota while building and growing Financial Services vertical as a major source of revenue for Platform in Europe. Responsible for external lead qualification and inside lead generation at major target accounts. Work on several target accounts at the same time aswell as monitor and process external leads in Siebel. Reports to VP EMEA FS.

Responsibilities:

• Protect and promote the image of Platform to customers and partners alike

• Understand the competititive landscape

• Provide weekly report to VP FS EMEA on progress

• Maintain a log of calls made and when  

• Be familiar at all times with key applications which relate to Platform products

• Work with Platform partners and resellers as directed by VP FS EMEA

Requirements:

• Technical IT (or related) study

• 3-5 years sales experience in financial services, especially investment banks, hedge funds and so on

• Ability to qualify leads according to established sales processes

• Team with the Account Managers to follow up designated leads and to profile target accounts

• Team with marketing to efficiently process leads from external events

• Used to working on his/her own intiative in small team

• Fluent in English – French or other European language skills a distinct advantage

• Excellent telephone and cold calling skills required

• Ability to communicate value proposition for Symphony in the target markets

• Prepared to travel occasionally throughout the region

• Prepared to work from the London office in the City

• Must be tenacious and persistent in working the pipeline to qualification (in or out)

• Must be able to use in house systems like Siebel
