We are currently looking for 1 individual to fill the role of BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE who will work with key financial services application ISV’s in order to drive net new customer revenue for Platform Computing.
Description
We are looking for an energetic, creative and intelligent individual to add to our business development team. You must be able to articulate the business value of our financial services and HPC solutions in competitive scenarios. Applicants should have a strong sales or business development background with 10+ years of executive selling experience. The candidate will have strong communication and excellent presentation skills with the ability to position Platform's value to senior managers as well as technical decision makers along with being able to close deals.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting Platform’s financial services application ISV initiatives globally.
- Responsible for recruitment of partners to build strategic co-sell, resell and OEM go-to-market relationships.
- Responsible for identifying, pursuing and closing business development opportunities that support Platform financial services initiatives.
- Perform channel sales activities with ISV application partners that meet or exceed assigned revenue objectives
- Build and execute business plans with financial services ISV application partners.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and engineering in order to drive Platform financial services initiatives.
- Maintain and build accurate channel sales forecasts as required.
- Development and effective implementation of consistent processes to identify, validate, plan and launch new business initiatives with ISV application partners.
- Relay partner feedback to product management and development teams.
- Assist marketing with programs and promotional strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in computer science or business management.
- Requires a minimum 10+ years of executive sales experience from tier-one technology companies.
- Strong background in financial services industry along with key ISV application providers such as; Misys, Sophis, Calypso, Murex, Sungard …
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
- Travel required.
